£35,000 plus potential for car allowance

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor to join a long-established, profitable and market-leading business within the automotive sector.

THE ROLE

The successful Sales Advisor will assist with the day to day running of a busy garage and workshop. You will be the first point of contact and will manage both face to face and and telephone enquiries, ensuring excellent levels of customer support all times. Duties will include but not be limited to; providing quotations, booking appointments, coordinating job cards for Fitters, maintaining accurate customer records, invoicing, taking payments and assisting with stock control.

We are seeking a Candidate with strong communication skills to ensure that customers and Fitters / Technicians are kept informed with the status of their bookings.

The ideal Candidate will help to ensure the achievement of commercial targets in sales, market penetration, and commercial margin.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Sales Advisor will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in sales, customer service and business operations, ideally within the agricultural, tyres or plant machinery industrial sectors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead a team
• The ability to perform under pressure
• Knowledge of commercial processes
• Knowledge of the MS Office packages
