The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global, manufacturing Company as their Finance Systems Manager on a full time, permanent basis. The Finance Systems Manager will oversee the regional management and technical leadership for our Clients Oracle EBS and HFM systems. It involves system governance, lifecycle management, technical leadership, managing complex system changes, taking part in both supplier management and complex global changes.

Key Duties

  • Provide 3rd Line technical support for our Clients Europe Oracle EBS & HFM systems, supporting complex data & configuration challenges, mentoring finance staff.
  • Provide a consultative, supporting approach to promote the ongoing improvement of our Clients finance systems and processes
  • Oversee the safety and reliability of the hosting the on-premise‘ finance systems, technical roadmap, ensuring adherence to appropriate internal and external compliance requirements (eg J-SOX)
  • Represent finance systems in projects and change activities.
  • Support the Finance function and represent the ICT function in a forthcoming global SAP migration project.
  • Support audit & complex remediation programs as required, advise & guide related to security and access controls.
  • Lead / support external supplier relationships as required.
  • Manage complex technical change & integration projects.
  • Lead, plan and manage system upgrades as required

The Candidate

The successful Finance Systems Manager will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Educated to Degree level in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of managing / supporting Oracle EBS and HFM solutions, both from a Functional & Service Delivery perspective
  • Significant experience of supporting the finance management team of a Global / pan-European Company, ideally in the Manufacturing & Sales sectors. Solid understanding of core finance & accounting processes.
  • A solid understanding of broader ERP system principles and processes.
  • Solid understanding and experience of working in an ITIL based approach.
