Commercial Sales Estimator
Full Time, Permanent, Outskirts of Newark/Mansfield
£25,000 Rising to £26,000-£28,000 following probation plus Commission

Our award winning Nottinghamshire based client is looking for a Commercial Sales Estimator as a new member of their growing sales team. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will work alongside the thriving Team of Estimators, as well as the Sales Director and Sales Team Leader.

Your overall responsibility is to provide initial quotes to clients and manage the projects from tender to point of order, which is likely to include revisions and amendments. The role requires someone who has excellent attention to detail and a passion for helping customers.

THE ROLE

As a Commercial Sales Estimator our client requires someone who has excellent attention to detail and a passion for helping customers. You’ll strive to maintain good relationships with new and existing clients, generate new sales leads. Your key duties will include:

  • Size, assist in design and price systems to meet client requirements.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with client and project information.
  • Provide technical help to clients (training to be provided).
  • Support the other Estimators, Sales Consultant and Sales Manager.
  • Manage all administration created by your own work.
  • Keep up to date with competitor products.
  • Arrange/attend client project sales meetings.
  • Answer incoming calls to the sales department.
  • Manage projects from quote to order.
  • Utilise industry publications to identify potential new projects and contact to get an enquiry.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Commercial Sales Estimator will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. As well as being able to demonstrate the following:

  • Have a high level of competency in MS Office.
  • Experience using a CRM System.
  • Be personable, friendly and have excellent listening skills.
  • Independence and self-reliance.
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to think on your feet and be self-motivated.
  • A team player.
  • Organised and methodical, with attention to detail.
