Newark, Full Time, Permanent
£18,000 - (£50,000 - £70,000 OTE)

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager (Automotive) who can thrive in a challenging role where customer care always comes first. You will be the first point of contact for all new enquiries, this role is dedicated to advising and selling new cars to eligible customers using best practice selling techniques and always ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.


Your responsibilities as a Sales Account Manager (Automotive) will include:

  • Follow the sales process to achieve monthly KPI’s for unit sales and add-on products
  • Maximise sales opportunities through prospecting, following-up calls, in-bound telephone enquiries, and email/web enquiries where you will be developing customer relationships
  • Communicate with customers effectively, to exceed expectations, whilst providing a service-based experience
  • Working to the highest standards of FCA requirements, you will maintain accurate records and paperwork, treating the customer fairly and adhering to the core FCA principles


The ideal Sales Account Manager (Automotive) will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Previous motor industry experience
  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers
  • Ambition to succeed, driven and motivated
  • Time management focused with excellent planning skills
  • Able to think on your feet and multi-task to achieve operational excellence
