Our long-standing client are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join their award-winning company. This role will be situated within a busy Engineering office, providing bespoke solutions with a team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Team.

THE ROLE

In this exciting Electrical Design Engineer position, you will be responsible for:

• Manufacturing bespoke solutions for production
• Creating and customising PLC programmes
• Production of Electrical schematics
• Managing large projects and offering technical support
• Diagnosing technical problems on the shop floor and out on site when needed
• Improving the development of in house, automation engineering bills of materials

• Ensuring compliance practice with standard operating procedures at all times

  THE CANDIDATE

The successful Electrical Design Engineer will possess the following attributes:

• Level 3, NVQ, ONC, HNC or Degree (in electrical discipline)
• 17th or 18th edition Wiring Regulations
• Familiarity with PLC programming and smart relays is essential
• AutoCAD experience
• Prioritising workload and working under pressure
• A strong communicator and confident with liaising with Engineers and clients
