We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Lead to join our clients busy Audit team at one of their East Midlands offices to assist with the planning of audit assignments and fieldwork, as well as the supervision and training of team members. This Auditor role is available on a hybrid (a mix of office and remote working) basis and is a great opportunity to progress your Audit experience within a wide range of industries.

THE ROLE

The successful Audit Lead Candidate will be required to:

• Assist with the planning and completion of audit assignments
• Lead the onsite audit team, supervising more junior team members and liaising with senior members of client finance team on a day-to-day basis
• Support advanced technical testing
• Managing budgets and KPI’s
• Develop strong working relationships with clients to understand their business
• Travel to client premises which could include overnight stays

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Audit Lead Candidate will be:

• Candidates must be AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified
• A minimum of 3 years experience carrying out Audit related tasks
• Proven experience in client handling
• Proven experience in producing high quality Audits

As the role will require you to travel to client premises it is vital you hold a current driving licence and have your own transport.
