Our established and successful Client is looking to appoint an Assistant Farm Manager (Broilers) on full time, permanent basis. This will be include assisting the Farm Manager in the day to day running of a broiler unit.

The Role

As a Broiler Assistant Farm Manager, you'll need to:

• Assist the Farm Manager in the management of the farm
• Run the farm when the Manager is off site
• Ensure the welfare of birds is adhered to at all times
• Day to day observation, walking, weighing of birds
• Maintain Biosecurity and cleanliness at all times
• Maintain up to date records according to red tractor scheme
• Willingness to participate in continual training
• Work within a large team

The Candidate

The ideal Candidate will have;

• NVQ 2 or 3 in Poultry Production
• Livestock or poultry experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Computer literate
• Physically able to carry out manual duties (Lift up to 20kg)
