Newark / Mansfield outskirts, Full Time, Permanent
OTE £25,000

Role and Responsibilities

Our industry leading client is looking to appoint a Sales Coordinator on a full basis. This busy, varied and exciting role is central to the operations of the sales team and requires an individual who is organised and detailed with exceptional customer service and communication skills.

As part of the sales and administration team, your overall responsibility is to manage new sales leads, manage quotes from tender to point of order, and be the first point of contact to all customers whilst supporting the sales manager and estimators in their roles.

As Sales Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Answering incoming calls to the sales department
  • Take new enquiries via phone or email, input onto system and delegate to estimators
  • Manage sales leads from source to point of quotes, then progression through tender stage to point of order
  • Produce copy quotes
  • Utilise industry publications and databases to identify potential new projects
  • Contacting potential new projects to get an enquiry
  • Communicate confidently with clients and suppliers
  • Keeping internal database up to date with sales leads and client information
  • Providing basic technical support (training provided)
  • Manage all administration created by your own work
  • Contribute to company social media channels

Candidate

The ideal Sales Coordinator* will have the following experience / skills:

  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales / support
  • Computer literate
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking
  • A team player
  • Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident telephone manner
