Operations Assistant
Grantham, Full Time, Permanent
£22,000 - £24,000 DOE

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our Grantham based Client on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of a busy office, processing orders, inventory management, stock ordering and price checking, and producing weekly delivery reports.

Role and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an Operations Assistant will include, but not be limited to:

  • Sales support with processing of quotations and orders
  • Checking and updating prices, advanced ordering, and inventory management
  • Booking goods in, matching delivery notes with purchase orders
  • Processing supplier purchase and expense invoices
  • Producing monthly statistics, delivery reports and stock code request spreadsheets
  • Liaising between sales and warehouse teams


You should ideally possess the following attributes and experience:

  • Processing purchase orders, quotations and credit requests
  • Stock ordering and cost price updating
  • Microsoft Office experience in particular Excel
  • A professional manner and excellent communicator with great attention to detail
