Our Newark based client is seeking to recruit an Infrastructure Architect on a full time and permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of integrated solutions throughout the Company and to ensure the smooth transitioning into the live environment.

Role and Responsibilities

As Infrastructure Architect your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the professional delivery of enterprise solutions making sure that the responsibilities for support are communicated, understood, documented and continuously reviewed
  • Act as a channel between technical teams in order to co-ordinate transition activities and the formal handover to the live environment
  • Provide support for the service transition process
  • Take responsibility for and own the successful delivery of pre-defined work packages
  • Working closely with Technical Architecture and Support colleagues to ensure that all initiatives are understood

Candidate

A successful Infrastructure Architect will possess the following:

  • Experience within technical delivery or support in a complex environment
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate
  • A relevant Degree, technical qualification or experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an ICT environment, preferably multi-sited
  • Hands-on experience of server administration, configuration and upgrade
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers and at all levels
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent changes

Candidate must be a holder of a clean driving licence and valid passport and be prepared to travel within the UK and globally when required
