Account Manager
Outskirts of Newark
£22,000 - £26,000 + Commission / Bonus

We’re on the lookout for a Sales Account Manager on a full-time and permanent basis. You will be responsible for driving the sales of customers through proactive account management, whilst identifying best business practice and escalating any customer issues that may occur. You’ll also have a proactive approach in seeking out new business opportunities.

The role

  • Providing exceptional Account Management and providing first class support
  • Understand the needs of customers and react quickly and efficiently, working closely with the other departments
  • Promote solutions and services on the phone and via email
  • Respond to incoming telephone and online enquiries and generate quotations as required, actioning follow up activities
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and after-sales support services to our customers
  • Expanding the portfolio of account customers by seeking out new customer who may benefit from our products
  • Conduct research and identify new market opportunities and customer needs
  • Identify new business opportunities - including new and existing markets and product lines
  • Coordinate potential new product development activity


  • Previous experience in Account Management
  • Ability to provide technical experience to customers and other team members within the business
  • Capacity to work at a fast pace and managing multiple concurrent activities
  • Able to think strategically and see the bigger picture
  • Ability to self-set targets and objectives in order to develop and grow the business
  • Ability to work alongside team members, whilst also working independently
