Our Client is a leading provider of employment advice to a range of users on a nationwide basis. They are seeking someone with a strong employment law and HR background, who will strive to go the extra mile and provide a high level of service in a range of employment related cases.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing advice and support to users of the inhouse Employment advice service
  • Have an excellent understanding of employment law and HR practices, whilst continually striving to improve your knowledge and keep up to date with changes in the law
  • Support your line manager in the education of colleagues and communicating changes to the law or useful information for the benefit of your department and the wider business
  • Have sufficient knowledge of Health & Safety principles, practice and risk assessments to support users of the service
  • Ensure a very high standard of customer service and care at all times, encouraging caller confidence and loyalty, in line with Company SLA’s
  • Handle legal expenses claims and enquiries when required
  • Continually demonstrate a customer satisfaction lead approach to your work
  • Work as part of a team to collectively achieve department objectives and support service development
  • Undertake some shifts on the 24-hour advice line rota


  • Demonstrate ability to analyse complex information and communicate advice, information and procedures, in a way which is easily understandable to users of the service
  • Conscientious with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A genuine desire to support vulnerable people to overcome disadvantages
  • Ability to provide very high standards of customer care and satisfaction
  • Driven to continually improve your own knowledge and share information with others
  • Ability to be professional but personable in the performance of your duties
  • Be able to recognise when there are gaps in your knowledge and seek further knowledge or assistance in such a way that encourages caller confidence
