Student Engagement Coordinator
Outskirts of Grantham, Full time, Permanent
Salary £17,500 + living accommodation plus meals

This unique position, located on the outskirts of Grantham, is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who has a passion for helping others to create once in a lifetime experiences, and loves to immerse themselves in their role. This full time, permanent role will be ideal for somebody who has experience of a university environment, and has travelled or studied internationally.

Role and Responsibilities

A Student Engagement Coordinator position will involve delivering inductions, running welcome events, supporting students and assist with building a sense of community, promoting activities and improving systems. The role will also involve:

  • Managing and coordinating a number of programs and processes
  • Coordinating calendars
  • Social media, digital displays and using creative means to improve communication efforts
  • Working with other members of staff to coordinate travel, opportunities and activities
  • Coordinating events including competitions, arrivals, departments and much more
  • Developing and managing initiatives

Candidate

An ideal candidate for the role of Student Engagement Coordinator will require strong supervisory skills, first class people skills and you will need to be approachable, able to analyse student needs and have the ability to project manage and develop solutions.

A Student Engagement Coordinator will also possess:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Direct experience in student or residential life
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Travel and study outside of the UK is desirable
  • Experience of the US university educational system would be advantageous but is not essential

This is a unique live-in role, and will require flexibility in working hours – days, nights and weekends will be required. This is an outstanding opportunity for somebody who is able to go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for students.
