Our Industry Leading Client is looking to appoint a professional and self-motivated IT Support Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking family owned business.

This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to make a real impact whist helping the Company to deliver a range of key IT and Technology based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing general IT support to the business
  • Configure and install new IT equipment and software
  • Implementing and maintaining internal systems, working to resolve any issues
  • Day to day support, maintenance, and management of the business IT infrastructure
  • Building and support servers
  • System data backup & recovery methods
  • Managing Networks – LAN/WAN/VPN/WiFi
  • Suggesting improvements and better ways of working for the business
  • Managing multiple projects including implementations and new software / hardware deployments


The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, proactive individual who is not afraid to take a hands-on approach to ensure that they will succeed in this role.

An ideal candidate for this position will be able to show the following:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation
  • Be highly organised and responsive to change
  • Attention to detail
  • Have problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience of working with software and hardware deployments
  • User Acceptance and Systems Testing experience an advantage
  • Working with barcode and Auto ID hardware / software a key advantage in this role
  • An interest in technology and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies including Server 2012/2016/2019, Exchange 2013/2016
