Technical Sales Advisor
Lincoln, Full Time (Monday to Friday)
Circa £25,000

The Role

Working closely with the telesales and product development team, the successful individual will work closely with dealers to sell an extensive product portfolio. The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate previous experience in direct sales and working with the dealer trade. Day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Telephone sales and advice for parts, machinery and tools
  • Answering product technical queries
  • Identifying parts for a range of tools and machinery on computer systems and catalogues
  • Advising, guiding and providing product support to dealers
  • Identifying and researching potential leads and opportunities
  • Receiving stock orders and despatching parts
  • Periodic promotions
  • Identifying the customers’ needs, upselling and cross selling parts

The Candidate

The ideal applicant will;

  • Have previous knowledgeable and/or experience in machinery
  • Have knowledge and/or experience within an engineering environment (advantageous not essential)
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be a positive team player with the ability to work independently
  • Enjoy detail oriented work and be highly organised
  • Have strong relationship building / account management skills
